The third collection of historical essays by a prominent Polish poet, essayist and playwright Zbigniew Herbert (1924–1998) is devoted mainly to ancient Greek culture and history.

First Russian edition. The first and the second collections of Herbert’s essays, «Barbarian In The Garden» and «Still Life With Bridle», were published by us in 2004 and 2013.
