A. M. Remizov.
Posolon'.

"Fairy-tale Russia - a terrestrial, sub- terrestrial and supra-terrestrial - was, is and will be, as long the sun shining on the great Russian land, and it will speak out for as long as human speech is alive and childish eyes look out onto the world." (A. Remizov)
Remizov wrote the Posolon' fairy tales for his little daughter Natasha. The book was first published in Moscow in 1907. It received well- deserved popularity with readers. In the 30s the book was reprinted in Paris for the Russian emigre children; it helped them to stay in touch with the beauty of their native language. From the 1970s until today Posolon' has only been included in Remisov's books aimed for adults.
We are undertaking the new edition of the book to celebrate the 90th anniversary of its first publication. Our intention is to return the book to its young readers, for whom Remizov wrote it.
