Alexey Porvin's poetic speech, combining conservatism of form with avant-garde content, is expanded and updated in the new book both at the level of formal features and at the level of meanings. The central part of Porvin's book is occupied by the poem "Our Joy Cecile", written about the Haitian priestess of the voodoo cult Cecile Fatiman (1771-1883), who played an important role in the beginning of the Haitian Revolution, which gave the country independence.
