The book by one of Russia’s most original writers of the 20th century is devoted to dreams in the Russian literature. Nightdream attracts Remizov as a most mysterious phenomenon of the being: dreams are “exciting in themselves, as any adventure; while “adventure” is the essence of live life: adventure constitutes human biography and history itself”.
The present edition is unique, for this is the first occasion that the author’s intension to combine prose and graphics as equal constituents of one unity is carried out.
