“Chronicles” is a collection of poems by Czesław Miłosz, published in 1987 by the Paris Literary Institute. The collection includes poems and several prose works written in 1984-1987. Milos looks through his life like a film made up of individual frames. His story of the twentieth century deals with topics related to the universal history and the personal history of the poet woven into it. The philosophical and theological poem "Six Lectures in Verse" closes the book. The publication is bilingual: the translation is published with a parallel Polish text.
