This book is the first publication of the complete works of the last St. Petersburg symbolist.
Skaldin was a disciple of Vyacheslav Ivanov and a close friend of M. Kuzmin, highly appreciated by A. Blok and A. Bely. Only two of his books were published in his lifetime. After the revolution of October 1917 he was arrested several times and even the date of his death is uncertain. His archive that included novels, short stories, his unique correspondence was destroyed.
The present edition also includes a biographical study and deatailed commentary by T. Tsarkova.
