Professor Gennady Barabtarlo, the best translator of V. V. Nabokov’s compositions on Russian, in his book set the task of their description in aggregate. As the chapters of a whole, not only «the equipment of verbal expressiveness», but also «a power of searching thought» of these works are investigated. G.A.Barabtarlo has no competitor in diligent aspiration to open the metaphysical and moral content of creativity, the theory of art and philosophy of the outstanding Russian writer of the XX century. According to Omri Ronen, any annotated edition of Nabokov can't manage today without extensive references to this philologist works.
