Dmitry Alekseevich Machinsky (1937-2012) was a St. Petersburg historian, archaeologist, long—term employee of the Hermitage, an expert on Russian culture and literature. The book includes all his works discovered to date, dedicated to Russian poets: A. Pushkin, M. Tsvetaeva, A. Blok, A. Akhmatova, M. Voloshin. During the author's lifetime, none of them were published.
